Designers: Panini Golden Age 2013 Playing Card Inserts

Sports designer John Mata of Eight-Zero Creative created and designed a complete playing card deck that will be inserted into the new Panini Golden Age 2013 baseball card packs, which feature baseball players as well as other notable figures. The playing cards will follow suit and feature the same vintage and old-fashioned look and feel.

The baseball cards are to be released in big retailers, Target and Walmart, at the end of June (6/26/2013) and will include one playing card in every three packs (24 packs in a box/8 playing cards per box). This will give collectors the chance to build an entire deck of cards just by buying the baseball packs. The total 52 playing card set will not be offered in a complete set in stores. However, there is a good chance complete decks will end up on Ebay or forums.
