After the success of Black Roses Playing Cards last year, Daniel Schneider recently launched Polyantha Playing Cards, a beautiful, elegant and deceptive marked deck.
The Polyantha Playing Cards are characterized by its special court cards as well as its color- it is completely black and white. For the Polyantha courts, Daniel has enhanced the Black Roses courts with additional details. As for the back design, Daniel said,
I wanted to create a deck for the card table and with the borderless backs they are perfect for it but it's more than that. The "Black Roses Marking System" allows every magician or card player to recognizes the value of each card in seconds during a card spread. In the deck you'll find a four page "magazine" with the marking system tutorial and a list with all the people behind the courts.
Like the Black Roses project, Polyantha was launched on Startnext.de with a €700 funding goal. It is currently 51% funded. If you want to support Polyantha Playing Cards, head over to Startnext.de.
