Kickstarter: EVA Playing Cards by Thirdway Industries Funded Within 48 Minutes

The latest project from Thirdway Industries has smashed its crowdfunding target in 48 minutes. The EVA Playing Cards campaign from Giovanni Meroni stated an initial goal of €7,777 (~USD$8,500), and just under 400 backers have driven the total raised 275% above that.

EVA Playing Cards is a fully custom deck dedicated to the First Women, with all female courts. Designed with a sharp and modern style with art style similar to SINS.

Like his previous decks, symbology can be found on the deck. For example, hieroglyphs can be found on the back, on tuck box and on the side of all the cards. According to Giovanni,

The hieroglyphs on the sides of the cards are different for every suit. Spades hieroglyph represent the Pandora's Box, Hearts the Apple and the Snake, Clubs the deluge sent from Olympus to Earth and Diamonds the fight between the first man and Lilith. The Clubs hieroglyph includes a lighting because the deluge was sent by Zeus.

EVA Playing Cards will be printed by the United States Playing Card Co. and pledge starts from €23 (~USD$25).
