Whoah! We featured Daniel Schnieder's Black Roses Altrosa Playing Cards last week on our Deck View feature and out of nowhere, the Black Roses Hotel was launched on Kickstarter.
Black Roses Hotel Playing Cards is the sixth deck in the Black Roses series with the casino flair of the 70s combined with a striking modern color palette. On the design, Daniel told Kardify,
I love Casino decks and I always wanted to recreate the flair of the 70s in a deck of cards. With the Black Roses Hotel Playing Cards you can hold a bit of nostalgia in your hands. Why Hotel? The hotel theme gives me a lot more funny possibilities that nobody has done before. You'll find a door hanger in the deck and a comment card to rate the Black Roses Hotel.
The cool colorway features fully custom artwork from the personalized court cards to the intricate back design composed of clean and smooth lines. The muted color on the card back and faces along with redesigned pips is a throwback to the look and feel of vintage casino decks. The tuck box even comes with a blue seal stamp slightly off-centered.
The Black Roses Hotel is printed by the US Playing Card Co on crushed paper stock and tradition cut. Pledge starts at $11 on Kickstarter.
I'm proud that Daniel Madison is also in this deck as the King of Diamonds. At the beginning of this year, I had the chance to redesign the beard on his iconic court when I designed the courts for his Advocates deck.Don't miss out!
