Cardistry: GUESS Fontaine FINALLY Released. Sold out in 20 Minutes!

Zach Mueller released the GUESS Jeans U.S.A. collab on Black Friday and the decks were sold out in under 20 minutes! The brand new Fontaine decks were originally released at the Guess Farmers Market on 24th August in downtown Los Angeles.

The Guess Fontaines comes in two editions, Cycling Edition and Sticker Edition. Both decks takes cue from Guess’ 80s and 90s archives, with an emphasis vintage Guess graphics. The card backs are custom with GUESS design elements scattered throughout. Check out the launch video:

First Look: Black Reserve Note (Green Edition) Playing Cards

The Federal 52 Unbranded Edition Playing Cards is still one of the most highly sought after and demands quite the premium in the secondary market. Late last week, Jackson Robinson released the follow-up to the stunning deck, the Green Edition Black Reserve Note to subscribers of Kings Wild Shorts.

The deck feature a black and green colorway and shares many of the design elements as the rest of OG Federal 52 series. Jackson recolored all the cards from OG red hue to a green hue.



All red treasury seals have been changed to green on the tuck box and cards. This gives the deck a mysterious look and vibe.



Also, Jackson added a new Continental Drummer and a Declaration of Independence art cards. Like the OG, the deck comes with two-panel Diptych of George Washington crossing Delaware as well as the black card backs.



Another amazing deck to add to your collection. The stunning embossing along with a hint of green foil just sets this deck apart, as well as Jackson Robinson's signature style for the Federal 52 series and the fully foiled tuck interior makes this an amazing centerpiece to any collection.

Kickstarter: Explorer Playing Cards

Whoah! I can't believe I missed this deck on Kickstarter! Explorer Playing Cards takes you on a journey into the whimsical world of a planet on which the characters have just landed with their space shuttle.

The fun and vibrant deck is currently funding on Kickstarter and is currently 223% funded with only a week to go. Produced by Riffle Shuffle and designed by David Huynh, the Explorer Deck is David's first deck and the first time his work will be distributed at a large scale.

A piece of my artwork for everybody to own and appreciate. This deck will be the start of many more projects like this to come.

The deck is fully custom, The back of the cards features the hero character in a lovely symmetrical design, embellished with a glowing crescent moon. The backs are designed in the purple colour scale, while the main character is drawn in cool blue.

The court cards consist of silhouettes of kings, queens and jacks occupying a bigger part of the cards. Taking a closer look, each of the silhouettes is, in fact, a window into a different narrative. With each of the cards, you get to discover a new character and their thrilling adventure in the outer space. The court cards vary from the calming hues of purple into the fiery orange and red tones.

The number cards keep a classic design updated with purple and deep red colorway. The aces follow a similar design to the court cards, featuring a silhouette of a particular suit with a vista of a space shuttle flying through open space behind it.

The deck is packaged in an eye-catching tuck box with an undulating landscape in the shades of purple. Explorer Playing Card will be printed by the United States Playing Card Company on air Cushion Finish with the legendary Bee Casino Stock. Limited Edition of 2500 Decks.

Our friends at JPGames have just released the limited edition black COBRA Playing Cards. Cobra is illustrated by the talented Rick Davidson and inspired by some of JPGames owner, Paul Middleton's favorite decks - DMC's Elites and the industry-changing Monarchs deck from theory11.

Patrick Kun's Mirage Playing Cards is Back with Midnight Blue Edition

Patrick Kun’s Mirage Playing Cards is back! After two years, Patrick has released V4 of Mirage in Midnight Blue. The new deck has the same iconic look as the previous editions, but this time around, the deck will be printed by the USPCC on premium Bee crush stock.

Just like before, every court cards are completely custom along with the jokers, and the signature Mirage Ace of Spades. The red suits have been given an update with a more vibrant red color palette. The face cards are printed with metallic ink to give it a touch of elegance.

For the tuck case, V4 features an embossed blue dye tuck case stamped with white foil. The overall design has been simplified and minimized for a modern aesthetic look.

Since USPCC offers two extra cards, Patrick decided to include a double facer for magic routine and bring back the original Mirage Hyper Card that was originally introduced in the 1st edition of Mirage.

The Hyper Card plot has been around for many years but nothing comes close to this version designed by Patrick Kun. According to the product page,

The Mirage Hyper Card can be shown completely on both sides and even given out as an impossible souvenir for your friends.

Deck View: Blue Ribbon 323 Rosette Back Reprint

Reproduction. Retraced. Instricate.

This reproduction of Blue Ribbon 323 playing cards by Aethan Friday is based on an iconic vintage deck from the Blue Ribbon brand started by Willis W Russell in 1907. The decks are often associated with the Aristocrat brand originated by the American Banknote Company. However, USPC discontinued the brand including the Aristocrats in the 1990s.

Aethan revived the rosette backs of the Blue Ribbon in September 2018 with a successful crowdfunded campaign on Kickstarter. The deck comes with a custom ace, jokers and standard pips and USPC courts. The intricate "bank note" style card backs have been meticulously retraced by hand and the red and blue colors of the rosette backs are exceptionally striking.

Freshly Picked! Slicers Playing Cards

Slicers are the latest release from the cool guys at Organic Playing Cards. Just in time for the last few weeks of fall, the team wanted to make a deck that captured their favorite season and what better way to do that than apples!

Freshly picked from the Organic Orchard, slicers feel crisp and smooth just like a Granny Smith apple. The card backs sports a striking red colorway and the traditional courts have been updated with new color palette. Oh.. instead of weapons, the courts now have fall treats like caramel apples and apple cider on their hands.

Like all their previous releases, the tuck box is brilliant... an apple crate to keep the deck secure.
