007 Playing Cards by Theory11

The name's Bond, James Bond. Theory11 has released the latest collab deck inspired by the legendary film series. Designed by Mattson Creative, the deck is encapsulated in gold foil and embossed accents, the ultra-lux outer packaging is truly representative of the esteemed intelligence officer. 

The box features two layers of gold foil, with a sculpted 3D emboss of the James Bond family crest on the back panel. Elegance, Class, and Sophistication come together in this neat package. 

The deck feature completely custom artwork in every aspect of the design, with the Ace of Spades, Joker, box design, and court cards inspired by iconic Bond films over the past six decades. 

A closer look will reveal several iconic weapons and gadgets that have been featured in Bond films: the pen grenade from GoldenEye, Bond’s trusty Walther PPK, the ski pole gun from The Spy Who Loved Me, Jinx’s knife from Die Another Day, and much more! 

The back design of 007 Playing Cards features the Bond family crest and his family motto: Orbis Non Sufficit. This deck truly looks incredible and will sure to excite any Bond aficionado! 

Deck View: Club Pitch Playing Cards

CLUB PITCH Playing Cards is a collaboration between card enthusiasts, Duane Cardinez, and Pitch, a full-service advertising agency in Culver City, CA. The deck features minimal and bold design but with intricate and traditional design elements. The deck sports a jade green, black and white contrasting colorway giving it a striking look. The one-way card back features a subdued black/green color while the front showcases a loud hit of green/white color combo.

The face cards are easily recognizable with the traditional design elements but with a modern touch with bold green borders around the cards. Club Pitch cards deceivingly appear to be minimal but are rich in detail to avid collectors.

The Fontaine Fall Collection Drops Today!

The Fontaine Fall Collection releases at the Fontaine shop this today (28th November) from 3-6 pm in TWO colorways- Pumpkin (Orange) and Grey. These releases will be 1 of 2500 decks and this time, printed at USPCC. According to founder Zach Mueller's post on social media,

We have *50* bricks of each new deck and a small stock of singles available in-store. Once those bricks are gone, we will only have singles. Last drop we sold out of bricks with roughly 30 people still in line. 50 bricks out of a 2500 deck run is roughly 25% of the whole stock, so we won’t be selling more in-store. First come, first served, and 1 Brick of each color per customer.

Check Out the Gorgeous Blue Jay Playing Cards on Kickstarter!

Blue Jay Playing Cards is the second installment in Meadowlark's custom playing card series currently funding on Kickstarter. This beautiful deck is designed in collaboration with Elettra Deganello.

Elettra adds her own style to each card while respecting each element of the OG Meadowlark deck, keeping the series both unique and cohesive. Backers of the OG deck will enjoy the subtle (and not so subtle) goodies sprinkled throughout the deck.

Fully custom, the back design took some of the core features from the Meadowlark Deck and redesigned it to maintain its uniqueness. The Dentistry sub-theme was also incorporated in a fun yet sophisticated way. The back design is perfect for magicians, cardists, poker players, and art enthusiasts alike.

For the face cards, the Blue Jay was drawn in a fashion to be cohesive with the rest of the deck including the court cards, Aces, and Jokers. 

Elettra took the core elements of the custom courts from the Meadowlark Deck and modified them to add some subtle yet important pieces that incorporate her own style. The Heart and Diamond courts promote healthy teeth care while the Club and Spade courts are a bit naughty, enticing you with cavity-producing candy.

Two decks are available during the campaign, the Silver Frosting Edition, and Black Liquorice Edition. Each also comes with its own Gilded Edition. 

The Silver Edition features a blue colorway card back with metallic silver ink on the faces of the cards. The deck is kept in a tuck box printed on high quality light-blue colored paper with embossing and silver foil 

The Black Edition features eye-catching Holographic Cold Foil on BOTH backs and faces of the cards. Tuck Box printed on high quality black colored paper with embossing, blue and pink foils, and holographic coating.

Harmony Back Playing Cards by Christian Ellingstad

The new Harmony Back from Arcadia is a vintage-inspired marked deck targeted towards the modern card magician. Not only does it come in two different antique colors, red and green, but there is also a whole 56 card gaff deck available as well! Gorgeous, beautiful, and reasonably priced playing cards currently on Kickstarter.

Meticulously designed by Christian Ellingstad, the backs depict a mirrored lyre, a harp-like instrument used in ancient Greece, along with botanical ornaments. They are equipped with a powerful marking system within the tuning pegs, making you able to read any card within an arm's length. 

The face cards are based on antique courts from the late 1800's Backs Brothers decks, but redrawn and adapted to this deck. This makes them unique from standard courts, but still very suitable for magic. 

 

The Harmony Back will be printed by USPCC on their premium card stock and it will be crushed thinner for better handling and feel. 

Pledge for the Harmony Backs starts at $14 on Kickstarter. It will be only $7.5 per deck if you pledge for a brick.

Kings Wild Threads Deck No. 2

Here's the second shirt and deck combo from the Kings Wild Threads Deck series. These limited print decks feature a matching pattern on the back design which can be viewed through the custom shirt shaped die-cut hole on the tuck case.

The artwork of Washington crossing Delaware from the Black Reserve Note diptych jokers is used as the shirt pattern and the back design of the deck.  

Designer Jackson Robinson used his own standard court and pip designs on this simple yet unique deck of playing cards.

Less Than 4 Hours Remaining. SLOTS Playing Cards on Kickstarter

The SLOT series playing cards are inspired by the original Slot Machine symbols. The deck is another collaboration between Mike Wilson and Randy Butterfield of Midnight Cards. On the design, Mike said,

We decided a casino-style design would be the perfect representation of a theme like this! Each symbol is given a fictitious casino name of its own. The first gambling Slot Machine was the Liberty Bell by Charles Fey, in 1887. In honor of that, our hero Deck is the Liberty Bell Casino Deck.

 

For this project, they've focused on the four-leaf Clover symbol (Wicked Leprechaun Casino Deck) and the #7 symbol (Lucky 7 Casino Deck). Each design emanates class and sophistication for any game night!

The overall goal is to create 9 different SLOT Series Decks (broken down between 3 projects). When displayed side-by-side, each Tuck will have its hero Slot symbol highlighted in Gold FOIL and will descend in order from top to bottom.



Inside, the face cards are pretty much standard with the exception of the Ace of Spades and Jokers. The Ace of Spade for each Deck headlines a Vegas-style showgirl and the Jokers feature a unique old-school style Slot Machine with each Deck’s hero Slot symbol and color spotlighted. 

Each semi-custom recolored courts exudes luxury with the unique border treatment but remains extremely playable with the Court artwork we all know and love. The Face Cards for each Deck will feature a Metallic GOLD ink and 3 Pantone colors. 

Each SLOT Series Tuck Box will be printed on a premium Matte Tuck paper stock and will feature a Pantone flood color, Gold FOIL, and a second / accent FOIL. Each Tuck Box will also have an Interior printed design and embossing. 

The SLOTS Playing Cards will be printed by Expert Playing Card Co. on Classic Finish stock. Available NOW on Kickstarter for $15.
