Currently funding on Kickstarter, Constellation is a luxurious deck of playing cards inspired by the zodiac signs. Designed by Jason Cheng of Deckidea, the fully custom decks features detailed illustration of all 12 Zodiac signs.
The card backs set the tone of the deck with gorgeous mirrored-card backs featuring the different cycles of moon phases in the center accompanied by stars.
For the face cards, the number cards are made to be functional and legible. To accentuate the luxurious look of the deck, each of the pips is either outlined by gold metallic Ink or UV invisible ink.
The gorgeous Ace of spade showcase all 12 zodiac signs in a highly detailed, custom-drawn Spade. The court cards feature all 12 zodiacs in a 2-way design. They are visually eye-catching and interesting enough for collectors and game nights.
The Jokers of form a diptych illustration, featuring all 12 zodiac signs with their respective dates. The face cards are flanked by 2 strings of moon-phase illustration on both sides.
There are 2 editions on offer during the Kickstarter campaign, Premium Gold and Mystique Purple. The tuck of the Premium Gold comes with a champagne gold foil and embossing accentuating the details and at the same time, a luxurious look and feel.
The Mystique Purple is probably the most striking of the two. The purple foiled gives it a dark and sophisticated look and the embossing on the intricate design enhances the tactile sensation. Also, there are several openings on this tuck-box revealing part of the deck inside, of which
will feature UV invisible ink.
