Capsize is a fully custom, nautical-themed deck of playing cards, produced by Circe’s Game. A year in the making, the deck is currently seeking funds on Kickstarter.
The deck features custom-illustrated jokers, aces, pips and court cards. The two-way back design features knotted ropes overlaying an ocean pattern.
The court cards feature the Capsize crew: a captain for the King and his sailors for the Jack and Queen.
Together, they embark on a journey conquering the ocean and all its creatures… but danger lurks in the depths of the ocean, as a Kraken lies waiting to take the ship and its crew down to the abyss.
This Kraken is prominently featured as a striking design on the tuck case, the non-duplicate jokers, and the unique gaff card.
Capsize will be printed on Cartamundi’s B9 true linen stock with slimline finish. Pledge starts at $13 on Kickstarter.
