Originally funded on Kickstarter, El Retro Playing Cards is Pure Imagination Projects‘ homage to the famous El Rancho hotel & casino, the first resort in Las Vegas.
Complete with the iconic windmill and flashing light designs, El Retro channels the early days of what became Sin City.
The deck is completely hand-drawn by Zach Davidson and Olivia Warren with the idea of bringing the nostalgia of old-school Vegas to modern times. The face cards are pretty much standard to maintain function and familiarity.
El Retro Playing Cards is printed on a premium stock and crushed to the perfect thickness, mimicking the feel of past PIP decks as well as those used on the Vegas gaming tables.
