Illuminati Playing Cards are designed for the curious playing card enthusiasts, who appreciate fine art, the occult, and mythology. Designed by the Other Self, the identity of the artist is as secretive as the society itself. 

Funding on Kickstarter, the Illuminati Playing Cards comes with two editions- The Owl and The Knight. Both decks come with a matte black stock tuck box with embossed black and silver application. Giving it a luxurious feel. 

 

The card backs include a 2-way design with iconic iconography of the secret society of The Illuminati. The Ace of Spades is custom and the face cards feature bavarian elites and perfectionists of the shadowy organization, openly inspired by Greek mythology and pantheon. 

 

Hand-illustrated Diptych Jokers are included in both decks. Also, Symbols and markings have been placed throughout the deck. Perhaps they carry a secret message? 

The deck will be printed by NPCC on German linen fine art stock. Pledge starts at $15 on Kickstarter. Also, the Owl & The Knight booklet, half-brick box, and the ILLUMINATUS brick box are available as an add-on.

Mistborn Playing Cards Now AVAILABLE for Pre-Order

Kings Wild Project has just dropped the officially licensed Mistborn playing cards for pre-order! The beautiful deck is an exciting collaboration between fantasy Author Brandon Sanderson and Jackson Robinson, owner of Kings Wild Project. 

Fully custom, each card is beautifully illustrated and depicts a different character from the beloved fantasy story Mistborn. The Mistborn series is a heist story of political intrigue and magical, martial-arts action.

Cernunnos Forest Playing Card on Kickstarter

Funding now on Kickstarter, Cernunnos Forest Playing Cards by Herman Ong is an eye-catching deck inspired by the power of nature. Why Cernunnos? According to the campaign page,

Cernunnos is widely believed as 'God of Nature' in Celtic's myth and history! A god in human shape with horn and in stag incarnation. The Stag had a very special role in Celtic history as many Celts believed it belonged to fairy world! And together with Cat, Snake, Dog, Bull, Seahorse, Wren, Horse, Salmon, Swan, Butterfly, Wolf and Hawk, these 13 blessing animals constructed the Celtic’s animal zodiac.

Two decks are on offer during the campaign representing the day and night of Cernunnos Forest. The Fairy Deck illustrates the 'Day time of Cernunnos Forest'. The face cards feature a neat and antique design and the card backs come with a sky-river blue Foil (a unique gradient from green to blue in sunlight). The deck is packaged in a hot-stamped tuck box featuring the signature posture of Cernunnos with a gorgeous foiling tattoo. 

The Starry Night Deck represents 'Night Time of Cernunnos Forest'. The deck features a darker colorway- midnight-green and black designs on the face cards. Both sides of the cards come with cold-foil in eye-catching Starry Iridescent color. Also, metallic midnight-green gilding is applied on the side of the deck. The deck is packaged in a hot-stamped iridescent foil on tuck box surface with an embossed Cernunnos avatar. 

The face cards of both decks feature all 13 spiritual animals in Celtic zodiac. Each fairy animal sign is illustrated in a different shape or posture day and night! 

The Suits and; pips were designed in Celtic's Blessing Knot style, Each card has a different magic circle and symbol drawn in the background with different meanings.



The Ace of Spade features the Celtic legend - "Tree of Life", with highly detailed floral ornaments and fairies surrounded it. The other aces are another famous blessing icon of Celtic - 'Eternity Knots'!

These playing cards by David Blaine and artist Mark Stutzman feature fine Soft Touch dual-foiled tucks in white and green that are enhanced with multi-level sculpted embossing for a distinct texture. The card backs include Green MetalLuxe on thin crush premium stock for excellent handling. 

The Signed Silver Gatorbacks will be the first signed release of the sought-after silver Gatorbacks. The white and silver dual-foiled tucks are crafted from Fine Soft Touch stock featuring multi-level sculpted embossing. As part of the first Red Black Inc release, these highly limited signed decks will be a must-have for collectors. 

This will be the only release ever of the autographed Silver Gatorbacks. David Blaine signed 750 decks, which were then factory sealed by the United States Playing Card Company with a red tear strip to protect the authenticity of David’s signature.

Jolly Roger Kraken Epic Playing Cards, 3 More Days on Kickstarter!

Jolly Roger Kraken Epic Playing Cards by Black Ink Playing Cards is a fully custom deck with illustrations depicting fictional pirate characters lore. Designed by Jody Eklund, the deck illustrates a pirate's insatiable superstition and depicts the legendary destruction of a gargantuan sea monster known as the Kraken.

Ten Hundred Releases the “Black Edition Collectors deck” and Breaks Kickstarter!

Ever since the release of Vivid Kingdoms Playing Cards by Ten Hundred, it is breaking playing cards crowd-funding records! At the time of writing the total funding stands at $1.9m with over 20.1k backers! That’s an average of $94 pledge per backer! 

With the release of TWO new editions, the Kickstarter campaign is surely on a record-breaking spree. Now, Vivid Kingdoms is on track to become the first playing card campaign to hit $2m funding!

  
The limited deck was released yesterday and they were quickly sold out after the change in backers pledge overloaded the system. According to Ten Hundred’s backer update, 

I know everyone is getting errors while trying to add the “Black Edition Collectors deck” to their pledge. I have been on the phone with Kickstarter this morning and they are working on a solution.I am so sorry to everyone who is trying to get one. All the people trying to get one at the same time have overloaded the system.

The $40 limited edition deck comes with premium gilded GOLD edges, a new tuck case, and a special sleeve. Also, die-cut windows on the sleeve and tuck case to reveal the gold edges. Inside, the cards feature the art from the original Vivid Kingdoms deck.

Also, a special "Golden Ticket" deck was announced. The deck comes in a new gold edition outer sleeve. Ten Hundred will be slipping these into 1000 random orders. According to the backer update,

Each backer has an equal chance to randomly have one of these packed in with their order. There is no additional charge for these super rare decks. I am putting these randomly into orders for free.

Butterfly Autumn and Winter Edition Playing Cards are Here!

The Autumn and Winter Edition of the beautiful Butterfly Playing Cards are here! Butterfly Playing Cards are conceptualized by Ondrej Psenicka and beautifully designed by Swedish graphic designer and magician Stefan Eriksson. 

The Spring edition was launched on the first day of spring, the summer edition was released on the first day of summer, and the Autumn edition will be launched on the first day of autumn. On the early release of the Winter edition, Ondrej told Kardify,

If the Winter edition were released on the first day of winter, nobody would get their cards in time for Christmas. That’s why Christmas is coming early this year!

Both editions feature a beautiful card back in aesthetically pleasing seasonal colors. The colors of the design elements pop against the black-bordered backs and mirrored butterfly logo. Simple yet effective! The colors are reminiscent of the colorful wings of butterflies. 

 

The face cards now come with a gorgeous colored Ace of Spades and two butterfly silhouette jokers. Like previous editions, the deck has standard US faces with custom colors that match the back design color palette based on the seasons. 

The new Butterflies will definitely appeal to cardists, collectors, and fans of design and beautiful cards! The Butterfly Autumn and Winter Edition decks are now available from butterflyplayingcards.com for $23 each. 

Printed by Cartamundi on Slimline stock with B9 finish. There is an order limit of 6 decks of any one edition per person, so everyone gets the chance to own a set.

Retro Wave Playing Cards, Inspired by the Legendary 80's

Bring back the legendary decade filled with Retro Wave Playing Cards. Neon signs, electronic synthesizer music, VHS interference, palm trees, video games, and fast cars instantly immerse us in the style of those years. Designed by Evgenia Zhade, the Retro Wave deck of playing cards brings together the best of those themes and nostalgia. 

 

Evgeniya has developed a design with a classic combination of purple hues. Crafted for magic and cardistry, the face cards have been adapted to the standard image, and each suit is highlighted in a different color. There is also an additional image on the sides so that beautiful fans are obtained from the front. 

The bold dynamic back design makes card flourishes look interesting. The main symbol of Retro Wave is the sun, located in the center, there is also a classic video game grid, a completely symmetrical design. 

Each card was drawn separately from scratch, Evgeniya spent a lot of time on the courts. Each royal has custom faces done in the classic style with an 80’s flare and color scheme. The queen comes with multi-colored hair, dressed in disco style, special attention should be paid to the queen of diamonds - this is a self-portrait of Evgenia Jade depicting her at work with her pencil. 

The Aces are custom as well. The ace of diamonds is shaped like a road leading into the perspective on which the car is driving. Ace clubs are three palms, and of course a classic nightly romantic city for Ace Hearts. The main Ace of Spades showcases the Retro style wave itself.
