A stunning deck by Docs Playing Cards, a tribute to one of the most iconic books in magic The Expert at the Card Table by S.W. Erdnase. The deck has already hit its funding goal of $10k on Kickstarter. 

The Expert at the Card Table is an extensive book on the art of sleight of hand published in 1902 by S. W. Erdnase pseudonymous author whose identity has remained a mystery for over a century. As a detailed manual of card sharps, the book is considered to be one of the most influential works on the art of manipulating cards at gaming tables. 

This fully custom deck features classic mirrored-card backs, hand-illustrated court cards, updated pips, bold Ace of Spades, and custom Jokers.



The nostalgic color palette, illustration of hands, and acorn from the iconic book have been beautifully incorporated through the design of the deck. 

The deck is packaged in a beautifully designed tuck box featuring two foil on the details and embossing on a premium Tartan Green Vellum stock.
