Vivid Kingdoms becomes one of the most successful ever in Kickstarter's history for a playing cards campaign. The previous highest-funded Kickstarter playing card of all time was The Name of the Wind deck set in 2017 achieving a total $630k in funding.
The fully custom transformation deck features beautifully illustrated artwork, vibrant colors, and unique characters.
Ten Hundred's artwork is inspired by cartoons and anime, street art and graffiti, childlike imagination, comics, world cultures, religions, and folklore. He specializes in bright, colorful, imaginative character work.
For the deck, he has decided to document the entire project on his YouTube channel. Ten Hundred told Kardify,
The process of making the Vivid Kingdoms deck was pretty unique because I would spend a week or ten days making 3 or 4 cards and making a video documenting my process. In the videos I would ask my community of fans lots of questions and ask their opinion. I would share every success and every struggle.
Basically I was collaborating with several thousand people at once. That was no easy task, but I was able to take away some amazing feedback and incredible ideas I could develop.
On this insane achievement, Ten Hundred continued,
This project would not have been the same without the community. I think everyone who took the ride with me feels they kinda played a role in the making of this deck too. The support has been un-real.
Two editions are on offer- Standard and King's Blood (Kickstarter exclusive). The limited edition has the same artwork as the standard but comes with an alternate colorway for tuck case, blood orange card backs, original King of Hearts design, and alternate Jokers.
