Back in 2017, I was blessed with the funding of my second deck of cards, back then I was still learning the details of how to run a kickstarter campaign and how to print a deck of cards. Unfortunately I ran into problems due to my lack of experience and ended up delaying the Torch Red Enigma Playing Cards for over 2 years.Due to the support of some of the backers and some notable members of the community, Héctor had the opportunity to fix his mistake and fulfill the project.
Sincerely I think I could write a full book on the experience I had, plenty of things happened that opened my eyes to how playing cards should be done and why people buy them.
Starting today until the end of the year 2021, Anybody who want to try The Torch Red Enigma Playing Cards will be able to get a free deck by using the code: KARDIFY at checkout at www.enigmacards.com, you will only need to cover the shipping cost. Pharmacy on Main Playing Cards. 3 More Days on Kickstarter
With our third deck, we wanted to take a different approach in art style to keep everyone guessing. We decided to bring the theme back to our foundation: Pharmacy. Since we were going back to our roots, we decided that the best way to do so would be to pay homage to the old school small town pharmacies on Main Street.
Meadowlark Playing Cards teamed up with Russ Gray again (the illustrator from the first deck: Meadowlark Playing Cards) to create a classic deck where artwork was ornate and quality items came packaged inside metal tins. Instead of using the standard Bicycle or Arrco courts, they've updated them while still giving them a vintage feel.
Four editions are on offer during the campaign- Classic, Premium, Pharmacist, and Supreme. Each edition comes with their own respective colorway on the card back and tuck box. Inside, the deck features a fully custom back design, courts, pips, aces, and jokers.
The beautiful card backs feature stunning copper metallic ink on CLASSIC Edition, copper hot foil on PREMIUM Edition, and green hot foil on SUPREME Editions.
Printed by Legends Playing Card Company with Viper Finish. Pledge starts at $16 on Kickstarter.
