Oxalis Teal edition playing cards by Oxalis Cards is a deck designed to represent the beauty of nature and all its characteristics. Funded in 2 hours on Kickstarter, the deck is currently 260% above its funding goal of $6.3k.

The symbol of the decks highlights a particular species, the spontaneous flora, “the Oxalis Tetraphylla”, characterized by the presence of a four-lobed leaf that recalls good luck and good wishes. The deck is the successor to the standard edition Oxalis playing cards released last year.

The teal edition brings even more color and elegance to a deck inspired by the Oxalide plant. The deck has been meticulously redesigned with more accurate card backs with new floral ornamental elements, giving even more importance to the plant element in this edition.

The color that predominates this edition is a particular shade of Green water (teal). According to the campaign page,

The choice of this color was made for its symbology, in fact the green water reflects the properties of water, an indispensable element for the life of plants.  All contrasted by a lighter shade of water green that gives this back has a harmonious and elegant visual effect, perfect especially for those who practice cardistry and magic.

For the face cards, the courts have been slightly enhanced. In addition to the colors, a touch of personality has been added to the standard figures with a floral arrangement on the sides completely hand-drawn.

The aces have also been completely redesigned and revolutionized, giving it a minimal yet complex look. Newly updated magician jokers have been updated with a minimal design surrounded by floral designs.

Printed by the United States Playing Cards Company on BEE Stock with Air-Cushion Finish. Pledge starts at $15 on Kickstarter.
