Apollo Clover Back Playing Cards by Revival Design Company

0

Some of the vintage decks from the past have timeless designs that people would love to see and feel for themselves. However, these decks are gone along with the company that used to produce them. In the past few years, several brands have revived interest in some of the old designs and reproduced them with modern standards to live up to the legacy.

Magicians Daniel Nicholas (Instagram: @danielnicholasmagic) and Jason Ladanye (Instagram: @cardmagicbyjason) partnered with Jody Eklund to reproduce Apollo Clover Back Playing Cards, a timeless design from the Apollo Playing Card Line. This deck is the first official reproduction of the gorgeous Four-Leaf Clover Back playing cards.

The eye-catching deck features a bordered two-way design featuring a four-leaf clover on each corner with a sunflower in the center. You can see the flower tiles framing the four clovers. It is one of the card lines within the Apollo Playing Cards produced by The National Playing Cards Co. head by Samuel J. Murray. Within this reproduction.

The Ace of Spades featured an intricate Spade pip design showing a maiden playing the harp. There is the company name and the card line name on the card.

The Joker for this deck features the original artwork from the old deck: a crowd of dwarves illustrating the maiden playing the harp as shown in the Ace of Spades. The rest of the design, the number, and the court cards are all standard.

There are two editions available in the campaign: Standard and Premium. The Standard Edition will be blue and tucked inside a standard tuck box with a standard seal. This edition is meant to be frequently used by card workers.

The Premium Edition will be green and tucked inside a premium tuck box with embossed artwork and metallic foiling. The deck is completed with a premium numbered foiled seal. The cards for the Premium Edition will have metallic ink – this edition is meant for collectors to have a timeless design deck.

The cards will be printed by the USPCC with traditional cut on premium casino-grade stock and finish. Pledge starts at $12 for the Standard deck on Kickstarter. Also available is the premium display box with both editions for $60.
