The Great Gatsby Playing Cards NOW on Kickstarter!

After the success of the Artist Playing Cards, Andrei Captan is ready to throw his hat into the world of designing playing cards. For his next project, Andrei designed a stunning custom deck in partnership with the Fitzgerald Estate for the 98th Anniversary of the historic novel- The Great Gatsby Playing Cards. The deck is currently seeking funds on Kickstarter.

The Great Gatsby comes in two different editions: Black and White. These different editions are made in black or white tuck box and cards respectively.

As it is based on The Great Gatsby, the design is heavily inspired by the Art Deco movement in America. Also, there are a lot uses of gold on the deck- gold metallic foil for the box and gold metallic ink for the cards.

The front of the box features an exciting Art Deco artwork that is referenced to the novel. You can spot the eyes with glasses, a reference to the character in the story, the automobile, and the Great Gatsby initials. You can find the name of the author as well. The deck comes with a customized seal in a multi-pointed star with the Great Gatsby initials.

The card back design is a beautiful Art-Deco artwork done in gold color on top of a black/white background.

The customise pips feature an Art Deco pattern on the inside of the pip. The Ace of Spades features the detailed artwork of the Gatsby Mansion.

The courts feature the iconic characters that appear in the novel, such as Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby. The Jokers feature an identical artwork of the eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleberg along with the illustration of beautiful fireworks and an automobile.
