King's Wild has released Volume 37 (gilded edition) of the Table Players series, a stunning homage to vintage packaging. This deck draws its inspiration from the iconic "Golden Pelican" Blended Virginia Junior, originally produced by S. Tetley & Sons Ltd. in Leeds, UK.

Featuring a design steeped in nostalgia, Golden Pelican embraces the bold, classic aesthetic of vintage  branding.

The deck includes the signature Kings Wild Standard court cards, striking jokers, and a timeless design that captures the essence of a bygone era. Instead of the tradiotional red and black pips, the deck comes in a dark green colorway.

Created by Sinecure in collaboration with X-Decks' Supported Artists initiative, Passport Playing Cards on Kickstarter captures the sophistication of the 1970s Jet Set era with a unique twist of mystery and artistry.

Set in 1972 against the backdrop of Cold War tensions, this intriguing deck invites you into the carefree world of high-altitude luxury, and exotic destinations. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it evokes the allure of Concorde-era travel through its premium materials and design.

The back design echoes 1970s passport aesthetics, featuring a gold hot-foil logo and stripes that create a striking fan effect, inspired by flight officer sleeve braiding. The aces showcase recreations of authentic period visas, while the number cards resemble passport pages with aged, authentic port-of-entry stamps.

JAL playing cards by Orion Playing Cards is a tribute to water and humanity’s eternal connection to this life-giving element. Derived from the Sanskrit word Jal, meaning water. This beautiful crafted deck celebrates its transformative power, from tranquil seas to the mysterious depths of night.

The two distinct editions are available during the Kickstarter campaign: Tranquil Waters and Night Waters. Both are available in Standard and KS-Exclusive Gilded variants. The Gilded Editions are Kickstarter-exclusive numbered decks, limited to the total pledged during the campaign, ensuring their rarity for collectors. Tranquil Waters captures the serene beauty of calm oceans under a clear sky, while Night Waters evokes the mystique of moonlit seas.

The Return of the Green Man playing cards

The Return of the Green Man playing cards invite you to step into the enchanting world of forest folklore, celebrating the myths, magic, and legends of the plant kingdom. Created by Alessandra and Anthony of Jocu Playing Cards, this series draws on the rich traditions of the Celts, Romans, Greeks, Vikings, and other cultures to bring the Green Man’s story to life like never before.

The decks explore the seasonal cycle through four editions—Spring (Green), Summer (Turquoise), Autumn (Dark Red), and Winter (Light Blue)—each telling its own interconnected tales. Every card is meticulously illustrated by Sicilian artist Alessandra Gagliano, featuring unique court cards, number cards, and botanical imagery inspired by mythology and nature.

Each season tells a vivid story: Spring celebrates rebirth, with tales like the Sicilian Testa di Moro legend and the Anglo-Saxon myth of Ask and Embla. Summer brings warmth and drama, from the Wild Man archetype to Clytie’s transformation into a sunflower in her love for Helios. In collaboration with Netflix and the Duffer Brothers, Theory11's Stranger Things Playing Cards are inspired by the cult-classic series. Each card is filled with Easter eggs from the show, making it a must-have for fans.

Now on Kickstarter, the Turris Octava Playing Cards by Oxalis Cards draw inspiration from the historic city of Turris Octava, a place shrouded in maritime tradition and mystery. Designed with a bold minimalist aesthetic, the decks come in three unique editions: Coral, Turquoise, and Golden Ocean.

Damn Good Cards #7, is part of Dan and Dave’s acclaimed playing card series. One of my personal favourite! This beautifully crafted deck features a retro-inspired, one-way design, with "Play" set in a striking blue and gold diamond pattern reminiscent of mid-century print ads. Inside, the deck includes standard faces, white borders, and no seal, all tucked in a linen-finish box.
