After the release of the 666 Playing Cards series with Riffle Shuffle, PNKMagic established Darkside Playing Cards and successfully produced decks based on evil malevolent forces- Deal Playing Cards and Inferno Playing Cards. Now, they are back on Kickstarter with another fascinating series- Keys of Solomon Playing Cards.
There are two editions on offer during the campaign: Golden Griomire and Silver Spirituum, both gold and silver respectively. The tuck box is designed to look like a book. It is made with premium matte paper stock with gold/silver hot foil stamping.
The front of the box features the illustration of the key with a slithering snake along with the title. One side of the box is designed to look like a book’s rind, showcasing the title, author, and publishing company. The rest of the sides will display book pages. The back side of the box mirrors the card back design. The box’s interior has the symbol of “The Great Pentacle”, one of the famous symbols found in the grimoire.
Inside, the card back design features a two-way illustration of a key with a slithering snake coiling along it within the sinister border decorated with chains. It will be made with metallic gold/silver ink.
The court cards are two-way illustrations of 12 selected demons from the grimoire. The number cards will feature customized pips with the summoning circle on the background.
All of the Aces feature customized enlarged pip, with the Ace of Spades featuring the king whose name is used for the grimoire’s title.
Both Jokers are connected through the objects: one features a key and snake, and the other features a big keyhole with a horde of demons trying to pass through.
