Last year, Card Mafia released the OG Demon Playing Cards, featuring a transformative tuck box that can create different shapes. Due to its success, the next version of Demon Playing Cards is made – even better and ever grandeur…. Demon V2 Playing Cards – The Return of the Bloodmoon.
Now on Kickstarter, two editions are made available: Gigantic Edition and Vengeance Edition. This latest version of Demon Playing Cards features a set of brand new artworks and fresh design. The tuck box for the decks is made with premium paper stock with laser engraving, hot stamping, laser cutting, and hand assembly – infusing 3 different hot foils of red, silver, and black along with 3D embossing on the artwork. For this version, Vengeance Edition has two different variants based on the color of the foils of the box as well as the card’s back design.
Gigantic Edition features a remarkable work of craftsmanship, showcasing the transformative tuck design that consists of many different parts that are embossed and hot-foiled. The box itself can be created in the shape of a flying bat – its total wingspan is measured at around 20 inches, and there are at least 9 different displays that can be made.
The cards for Gigantic Edition comes with a borderless design. It features a two-way illustration of a demonic creature in red, black, and silver colorway. All of the Aces feature custom-enlarged pip illustrations.
The courts feature 12 different demonic creatures ready to seize the dark night – done as one-way full length illustrations. The art style shares its similarity with the previous version.
Vengeance Edition features an elegant box made with premium stock done in embossing and hot foiling. The box is opened sideways, and it opens up like a bat flapping its wings. Combining three of the same box will create a flying demon.
There are two variants of the box- Standard Edition features only red and black foil, while Variant Edition features red, silver, and black foil. Variant Vengeance Edition is limited to only 1650 decks and it is only available within set bundles.
The cards for Vengeance Edition feature an organic bordered design. It features a demonic face in silver and red colorway. The cards are are functional and suitable for table top games, yet they have customized pips and a set of illustrations for the Aces and Courts.
