Ondrej Psenicka, the mastermind behind the beautiful Butterfly Playing Cards, is back with his latest innovation on Kickstarter – the marked version of the iconic Bicycle Rider Back Playing Cards at an affordable price.
In a nod to magic’s storied past, marked Bicycle Rider Backs were once a staple in every magician’s toolkit until brand guidelines shifted in 2010. However, the Ultimate Marked Deck made a brief appearance in 2015 as a one-time exception. Priced at up to $39.95 per deck, it became a coveted item among magicians worldwide.
Now, Butterfly Playing Cards has found a way to mark them without altering the trademarked design… by adding a subtle frame with a marking system that’s both easy to see for magicians and invisible to spectators.
The sophisticated marking system is derived from Butterfly Playing Cards’ recently released Piña deck. They are seamlessly integrated on all four corners of the borders. Also, each deck includes two gaff cards chosen by backers, making it an ideal “worker’s deck” for magicians.
